• When I’m sending test messages through Contact Form 7, I get the ‘Thank you for your message. It has been sent’, but the email never comes through on the email account itself (I’ve checked the spam folder). I have everything set up the same way I do on other websites I’ve created that are using Contact Form 7. Any ideas on what to check? Thank you!

Some mail providers (like gmail) no longer accept mails sent with phpmailer (the wordpress default one) so I recommend that you configure an smtp to send mails

Thank you Erik. In this instance the mail provider is Microsoft Outlook. Can you run me through how to configure an smtp to send mails? Would a plugin such as WP Mail SMTP be a fix for this?

you must install a plugin which handles this.
