emails sent to 2 addresses, only 1 configured

very, very strange
been using CF7 for a long time, so i’m reasonably familiar with it
for all forms i only have one address configured, yet i am receiving 2 copies; 1 at the configured address and 1 to a completely different address that i used to use, but have since changed
it’s like CF7 is storing and using an email address that is no longer being used
