Emails suddenly sending excerpt, not the full post content

    Until yesterday the emails sent to subscribers had the full post text in the body inc. images etc. As far as I know, nothing has changed on the site or the settings but yesterday’s emails went out as an excerpt.

    I can’t see anywhere to change this back to the desired setting; can anyone point me to where this can be done?

    You can change it by selecting your Posts block > Display Options:

    Thanks very much; we found that setting in the Emails section of MailPoet and changed it back.

    We’re not sure how this was changed to Excerpt however, as we haven’t accessed the MailPoet sections at all recently.

    Is this an option that can be set elsewhere in WordPress? In a new post for example?

    We’re wondering how we managed to (accidentally) change this for this one post, that’s all.

    Any pointers gratefully received.

    I’m glad that you found the setting! I don’t think it can be controlled anywhere else.

    Is it possible that you used an email template to re-create your MailPoet email?
    Also, I’m wondering if the Posts/Automatic Latest Content block was removed and re-added since Excerpt is a default setting for this block.

    I’m afraid there is no way to find how it was changed exactly.
