• I run a multi-author blog where admins do the work of approving or disapproving comments. (We’ve got it set so that if you have previously approved comments, a commenter no longer needs approval, i.e. not all comments are required to be moderated by admins.)

Since the upgrade to 3.1 authors (who are neither “admins” or “editors”) are getting emails asking them to moderate comments. I can’t find “the switch” to turn off this feature. I could require all comments to be moderated by admins, but that’s too drastic a solution.

How do I stop the emails to posters?

  • I’m seeing the same behavior on a multi-author site. Still looking for a solution to this.

I’m having the same issue on a multi-author site. Have no idea what’s causing the issue.

Either of you figure anything out?

Hi there. I’m having the same problem with the Multi-site blog. How do you stop the emails going to the authors? The are going to the Admin email but I need to stop them from going to the authors.

    Thanks!
    Barbara
