emails – who gets what

    Hi all

    I’ve looked around for the answer to this but I can’t find it anywhere. Please can someone tell me if this is correct for 2.8:

    Site owner: (Their email address is on the profile page)
    They get: “please mod comment email”

    admin: (the one that can’t be deleted from the user list)
    They get: “there is a new comment” emails

    Administrators: (where you give them a role)
    They get: nothing

    This is where:

    E-mail me whenever…
    “Anyone posts a comment” and “A comment is held for moderation”

    are both ticked

  • Email address in Settings->General gets notified that comment is held for moderation.

    Email address of author of post gets notified, once comment is approved, that a comment has been made to his/her article.
