Embarrassing isn't it

  • Am using Twenty Eleven, changed pages when Reply/Comment disappeared

    Content is not loading on new pages and I can’t change them back

    I am 71 and have limits to learning techie stuff – I think I;ve done pretty well so far – see https://www.CoOrdiMed.com and https://www.FarReach.org

    Whay is there not a clear set of instructions??? with numbered or bulletted points.

    I am extremely distressed that the public messages of my pages are messed up.

    Any why does the term Embarrassing have to be blasted from my page to embarrass me!???? Honestly, who needs this nuisance to add to the difficulties???!!!!!

    Please help correct this!

    I think you have done an amazing job so far.

    Please don’t take offense to the page not found message. It is not meant to embarrass you. It is just a lighthearted way to convey a page not found error.

    On CoOrdiMed.com your home page is set to comments/links, orders. Do you want it the same way on FarReach.org? If so here are the steps.

    1. Go to settings permalinks and choose the postname option and save.
    2. Go to settings reading and for home page choose static then from the drop down menu choose comments,links, order and save
    3. See if this fixes the not found problems

    To get Reply / Comment to come back up:

    1. Go to where you edit the page and click the greay box in the upper right hand corner that says page options and check Discussion.
    2. This will make the checkbox appear at the bottom of the edit page for allow comments.

    Please report back if this fixes your problems
