Embed Code is gone after saving

  • Hi there,

    in one of my blogs I encounter the problem that if an editor embeds an iframe code and saves the post, the embed code is gone. If an admin does the same, the embed code remains. Therefore I assume, that this is a rights issue. Does User Role Editor offer the possibility to grant the editor role the right to insert iframe code? And if so, where can this be done?

    Hi Bernd,

    unfiltered_html capability will resolve this problem for single site WordPress installation.
    WordPress multisite ignores this capability by default. Workaround is described here.
