Embed Code on RSS

  • Hello,
    I’m using this plugin and really works. But I don’t know why sometimes send the embed code from video platform as a text.

    I use:
    – Summary
    – And place as CONTENT on Mailchimp

    Thank you for sharing the link to your feed. Looking it over, I suspect you are seeing this if you add a video to your content fairly early in the content (or the entire content is short) so that it’s counted as part of the excerpt. The excerpt feed is not really set up to handle videos, because those can vary so much from one embed method to the next. I would suggest for these kinds of posts that you create a manual excerpt for the RSS feed to use instead of allowing the plugin to attempt to trim the content.

    Hi Robin! Thank you for the answer. But in this case I have to create this manually every week? Or can I setup it on the plugin? Thank you

    You should only need to create a manual excerpt for posts with little content and/or a video embed early in the content. It’s something you would create when you create/edit your post, and just gives you total control over what is used for the excerpt. For longer posts, you should be fine to allow the plugin to decipher the excerpt on its own.
