Can I embed a LifterLMS course on a third-party site using an IFRAME, or similar?

I have several sites that would benefit from the same course, and wondered if I could host and manage it centrally, and embed a white-labelled version on each of those websites? This would avoid having to replicate the same course content across multiple brands, which would save countless hours of management.

  • Hello, there’s not a way to embed a LifterLMS course using an iFrame unfortunately. The user data for reporting needs to belong in the WordPress database, so I’m not familiar with any methods to embed a site that way.

The same course across multiple websites is a complicated issue. It might be best served with hosting your course content off-site for example, I’ve seen users who work with H5P to create their learning content and what they’ll do is create their learning data on the H5P website, and then use the embed code from there to embed in their WordPress.

So if the eLearning page content itself is offloaded or not hosted on your site directly, you could embed it in each site. (your course descriptions, images, videos, etc.)

If you wanted to add or delete a course or change the order of lessons for example, this change would not roll over to the other websites, but the content changes would. Hopefully that helps understand what options may be available to explore
