Embed File using UNC Path

    Hi,

    I am trying to embed my pdf files via a UNC path. How would I accomplish this?

    I am using this as the structure.

    url = file://server/share/subfolder/file.pdf

    This doesn’t allow the file to render. Does the “file://” have to added to the code to allow this function?

    I am using WordPress for an intranet site as it is the easiest to maintain.

  • Thank you for your message, but unfortunately that url scheme isn’t supported by the plugin (or WordPress in general, as far as I know).

    Sorry not to be able to help further. The only suggestion I can make is to switch to using http or https, but I understand you may already have reasons why you don’t want to do that.
