    How can I embed a hubspot form without using the plugin?

    The plugin is an overkill. Heavy like an elephant, paralyzes the website from loading. Is also intrusive and harness data that we are no seeking to collect.

    Hi @name1user,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    You can embed a Hubspot for directly onto your website using the embed code.
    Marketing > Lead capture > Forms > Hover on required form > Edit > Embed > Copy Embed code and add the HTML to your website.

    That said, the plugin offers a range of features that would help avoid manual work for you. If you let us know the problems you are facing with the plugin, we could suggest some solutions.

    Best Regards!

    Yes we get the html code, however the form is rendered below the footer and the size is 100%.

    How do you suggest I embed the form where I would like the form to be within the page?

    I am using “Edit HTML” box to add the html code of the form, and this does not seem to be a good option because the form is shown below the footer.

    As far as the plugin, I explained in the first post that is heavy and slows down the site tremendously, additionally with the plugin default settings it is intrusive and harness data that we are not interested in. Your indiscriminate access to account users data is also a concern. Anyone in your sales and support has 100% access to everything, which includes buyers info when the plugin is used.

    This link does not help. Most of the styling is restricted and does not address our issue

    Hi @name1user Thanks for your message,

    When embedding a form you can specify a target element:

    <script>
      hbspt.forms.create({
        ...,
        target:"#your-container-element-id
      });
    </script>

    Advanced customization is restricted to the starter plan.

    Related to your claim of data tracking please refer to our GDPR Guidelines. All our tracking is done anonymously and after user consent. We do not use the information your are claiming in any of our sales and support channels.

    Best regards

    GDPR guidelines are very strict and specific. When a random sales person over chat has access to all the content on my account this is concerning. Your default settings are tracking and collecting sales data including buyers info on our website this is concerning.

    In addition to the data you track, collect, and have indiscriminate access to, the plugin itself is slowing down the website to an halt.
