So all big companies do wrong and you do right? I have read that reason and It’s fine. All I’m saying is that you have to provide the option and let users decide for their own. Emails without images are the most ugly emails!

This is silly and wrong IMO. It really depend on which country you live in. Here in Denmark almost all users have 4G and speed is not a issue at all. Images have been used for mailouts for a long time and is a dealbreaker for us.

IMO it really is. The point is that the service provider must not decide which is good for us or not. We can decide by ourselves. I receive up to 20 emails per day and I have never got one email with attached image in my spam!

This is all related to SMTP and email address reputation.

The open rate is awfully low because no one likes ugly emails without images.
