Embed of multiple WP-posts not working

Having problems when trying to embed multiple WP-posts. It looks correct in the editor (using classic editor). However on the published post one post is showing up multiple times, rather than a link/embed for every post.

I’m embedding by just pasting the URL in the editor.
For whatever reason if I add ? to the end of the URL it works.

I’ve cleared cache and also clearing oEmbed Cache.
Haven’t had any issues in the past. I’m now on WP 5.7 but was on WP 5.6.2 when the problem appeared. No plugin updated before the issue appeared.
No problem with external embeds (Twitter/Youtube).
