Embed Twitter hashtags and lists in a post

    I’m brand new to WordPress (Joomla background guy here) and am creating a new site.

    One of the most key elements needs to be the ability to embed twitter cashtags, hashtag lists, etc within a blog post. This will all be related to realtime information about specific stocks, i.e. $AAPL or topics, i.e. #oil

    I have tried paste the html code provided by twitter while creating the blog entry. The post just shows the code as text.

    Does 3.5.1 allow for the direct embed of this code? Or do i have to hunt down a plugin from the ocean of them available?

    (Hoping it can do this natively as i also have stocktwits.com and other website content to incorporate)

    The site is https://www.traderfy.com; and yes it is horrid now. Will work on the buddypress and visuals after the hard parts are done

    Also tried a plugin called “Twitter Embed” that didn’t seem to help either.
