Embed YouTube videos not working

  • Hello!
    Recently there was a problem, that I still can’t resolve.
    When I try to post a YouTube video link, instead of displaying the actual video, there is only a link.
    I tried it with Vimeo and Twitter links, but those work normally.
    Here is the example.

  • Hi Amic58. I just posted the link in your example into a post and it generated a YouTube video entitled “Tydenni novinky #35 | GamersTV” without any problem.

    It is interesting.. I tried disabling all plugins, but the problem still persists.
    If you go to this website, under “NOVá VIDEA Z GAMERS TV” on the left side, do you see any video, or just the link?

    That code should be converted into an iframe within a div in the widget. Are you sure there aren’t any spaces or other characters around the link url in the widget?

    There are no spaces or characters around the link. I tried to use Twitter or Vimeo links in posts, but they appear. Only YouTube for whatever reason doesn’t work.

    Edit: Instead of copying only the link, I tried to copy and paste this code found under YouTube video, and “Share”. There is for example this code:
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6cpRuF4su1U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
    It does work, but it still bothers me, that I can’t post videos the same way like before.
