• When searching for embeddable images, people who have previously logged in, do not get any results.

Looking at the JS console reveals a 403 error. Digging into the actual network traffic, it shows an HTTP 403 error, the response body is a cryptic <h1>developer inactive</h1> message.

We’ve rolled back to the previous version of the plugin without any effect — though I’m not sure we ever tested this flow. Some people — I’m 50% sure they have never logged in to the paid side — are still able to access things.

I’ve tried deleting the wpGIc cookies with no effect … which makes me doubt my “never have logged in hypothesis”

The editors on this site are keen to use a blend of licensed editorial photos as well as getty embedded images.

Update. I tried a simple deactivate/active of the plugin… And am now getting this JS error:

    Screen Shot

But this is a new issue — and could be because we rolled back the plugin?

Thanks for raising this issue, Taylor. We think we know what’s causing this, but we’re confirming some things on our side and will post back once we do.

I am not sure if this was ever resolved from Getty’s side, but I am getting this same error.

    <h1>Developer Inactive</h1>

    When debugging, I get a 403 forbidden.

    I am on Chrome 42.0.2311.152 (64-bit), OS X.
