• Summary: All my featured images for posts have the same aspect ratio. But when I embed post, some featured images are cropped.

Details: I’ve been using Colormag for ages without problems. I also stuck to 800×445 for the featured image size. I lately started to use 1600×890 for a new use case, but the aspect ratio is the same.

Today, I created two embedded posts. One has been cropped on top and bottom, the other not. The cropped one is 1400×600, the uncropped one is 390×205 (which actually also seems to be slightly cropped.

The most important question: How can I ensure that the images don’t get cropped?

Second question: What’s going on here?

The URL link showcases this behavior.

    Thanks for your help!

  • Hi @jastram,

    Thanks for reaching us,

Upon investigation, the image appearing to be cropped on the embed post is an issue with the theme. The issue has been reported to the developer team, and they will be working on it soon. Hopefully, with the upcoming version of the theme released, the issue will be fixed on your end, too.

Let me know if you have any other issues or confusion, and I will get back to you.

Just installed version 3.1.5 but the problem is yet there.

In home page we see images 390×205 with very very poor quality.

    Inside the image is ok.

It’s a big problem and a damage to the image of the site.

    Thank you
