Embedded video not appearing

  • I’m trying to embed YouTube video… it won’t display… I’ve tried:
    – putting the URL on separate line (tested both in text as in visual)
    – putting the embed code around in text
    – using the old and new embed-code from YouTube
    It doesn’t make a difference… there where I want the video to go is a big blank space in the preview…
    Can anyone help?

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    I am using Twenty Twelve theme. I had an embed plugin that worked. Suddenly, today, it’s not working. I tried other plugins, and I tried it as a default. I get a black screen now with no video image. Any ideas as to what happened to this all-of-a-sudden??
