Embedded video won't stop playing

Please can someone help me with a problem, on my home page I have a video embedded form dailymotion to autoplay when someone clicks on the site, below I have thumbnails with more videos I have use Advanced Responsive Video Embedder.and have jQuery Colorbox. The problem I’m having is when the video which is auto playing and you select one of the thumbnail I end up with both playing at the same time. I need the video in the background to shop or just to pause.
