Embedded Youtube Video Size

Hello everyone!
I am attempting to add a Youtube video to a certain page in my website.
I have created a new block and used the Embeds Youtube option.
My problem is, no matter what alignment I choose, the appearance/size/placement of the video remains the same when viewing the website.
I have tried embedding it manually with code that I found on other forum posts, but no matter how I adjust it, the video again remains the same.
Does anyone have any helpful tips?
