    Hello,

we’ve been using Complianz together with Elementor Pro for a long time on our website. Unfortunately with recent updates (unfortunately we can’t pinpoint the version), it came to the following problem:

The Youtube videos embedded with Elementor (and blocked by Complianz prior to consent) are not playing when they are clicked.

I deactivated and reactivated all other plugins and the culprit definitely is Complianz itself. Also when deactivating Elementor in the Plugins list of Complianz settings, everything works fine, but of course without the necessary blocking function we are looking for. Here in this forum, we’ve also found a complaint by another user about a similar or same issue, but no solution.

We’d really appreciate your help to quickly get to a solution, since it used to work so perfectly in the past and we’d hate to switch away from Complianz. Thank you!

    Hi @linguedo,

I would recommend checking whether the issue persists without the optimizations from the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, so when that plugin is temporarily deactivated.

If not, there’s likely a specific optimization in that plugin which causes the issue to occur, so you can disable features one-by-one & check the behavior to see if that resolves it. If so, you’ll know that the feature you last disabled was the most-likely culprit.

I’d recommend starting by checking whether you have optimizations such as “Lazy Load iFrames” enabled, and test whether de-activating it & clearing the cache resolves the issue.

    Kind regards, Jarno
