Embedding a font

I am currently setting up a site for a client and the fonts that I’m attempting to embed won’t work. I’ve linked them to the correct folder and double checked that.

If you look here: https://www.deadlydash.com you’ll see that the Des’s Deadly Dash font on the top of the site is embedded with the font Bebasneue. If you go to https://deadlydash.com/draft/test/ you’ll see that it is not.

Also, is there a reason that the bottom of the site wouldn’t be picking up the white background? I know it’s my coding but I’ve split the header, footer and interior pages up to what they need to be. I’m sure I’ll have to play around with that but if someone can let me know about the font embedding that would be great.
