Hi, is there any way i can embed images to wprm recipe maker instead of uploading them to my wordpress. i have a very limited bandwidth and as you know images take up a lot of it so is there any solution for this, like editing the plugin or something else.

I cannot recommend doing that. Google also wants the images in the recipe metadata to be hosted on the same domain.

Where are you hosted exactly? I don’t see how bandwidth of some recipe images could be a problem nowadays.

hi @brechtvds thanks for the reply.
the thing is that I am hosting my site on google cloud free tier so they have a limit of 1gb for free tier. that’s why I am trying to just host the texts on my server and the rest externally.

Also I have another question “is images in the instruction field required” does it affect my seo if I don’t add it?
because when I inspect the URL in inspection tool it says ” URL is on google but has some issues”.

For guided recipes, Google wants to see either an image or video for every single instruction step: https://help.bootstrapped.ventures/article/263-metadata-for-guided-recipes

I wouldn’t worry about that too much though. It won’t affect SEO at the moment.
