Embedding player

I’m using this to create audio versions of my posts for those who prefer to listen rather than read. I don’t want episodes to be their separate posts, although I can live with it if they have to also be. (It may cause a bit of a problem, though, since I can’t reuse the titles.)

But what I really want to be able to do is embed the episode in the actual text post. Currently, there’s embed code, but it only creates a link to the episode on another page — and the display is such that it isn’t even clear to the reader/viewer that that’s what they’re looking at. I want to be able to embed the actual thing that shows up in the podcast’s “post” in the post where I want it to appear. Is there a way to do that?
