Embedding self-hosted video – similar to VideoPress

  • VideoPress is great, but paying for storage I don’t need and a service I don’t need, when I have my own server, is not practical.

    I want to be able to host .flv files on my server and embed them just like I would with a YouTube video. I have spent hours searching, but am coming up empty-handed. Does anyone know of a solution?

    Did you actually look at any of the plugins listed?

    Noticed your questions over thae past and I think I can help. Many times I have to try many diff plugins to find the right one. It is a good and bad thing, good to have many choices but bad bec it take time to try them to find one that works (for you). I saw you site and think I can help u so I left comment in a comment to be moderated so em me and perhaps I can help.
    I’ve had sites b4 with the vids and mp3 stored on my own server and could use MY embedd codes on other sites like youtube. It take a lot to run them all if get too many out there.
    I have been using WordPress since 2009 and it rocks!
