Embedding Video

    Since upgrading to 3.1.2, WP is not allowing me to embed video, despite my doing exactly what I did for posts under 3.1.1, that did work. I tested it out by attempting to update existing posts that did work… and then they didn’t.

    The videos I need to embed aren’t YouTube and the rest, they are all from non-public sources. So the various plug-ins aren’t going to do the job. This is a pain as I really need to be able to embed like before, as it’s for work purposes!

  • I have the very same problem. My two year running blog relies heavily of embedded video (.mov and .swf). Looks like I should not have upgraded to WP 3.1.2 as I cannot embed the media files any more.

    Any suggestion on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
