Embedding video’s suddenly doesn’t work anymore

    Hi there, I was changing the page mentioned above. It contained two video’s, one youtube video, which is still there, and a Vimeo video. I added both video’s by simply adding the links in the visual editor and it worked perfectly fine. The most easiest way WordPress provides us to put video in pages and/or blogs…

    I decided to replace the Vimeo video with another one that suits me better. But after removing the first one, WordPress doesn’t put the new video in the page content. It simply shows the link (without an actual the link) as if it were text. I’ve tried everything but embed the video the old fashion way. I removed cookies, logged out of wordpress and back in, even restarted my computer. But I still can’t add a video the easy way. Not in the same page, nor in a new one.

    What is going on? Does anyone know how to fix this? I know how to embed a video in the text editor, but I’d rather not want to do that for the rest of my website! Help, please!

    It turned out the video’s from Vimeo were restricted. The only question remains why I could embed the first one, but not the second one. Though, that’s not your problem ??
