Embedding Vimeo videos in gallery

    Is it possible to add videos from Vimeo to a gallery by using a link to embed? If so, how is this done? I don’t see any documentation on it.

    Also, will video thumbnails set in Vimeo be the same thumbnails when viewing the video in the Image Gallery?

    Just paste Vimeo or YouTube link to image “Link” field.

    As for now Video supported only by Phantom, RealSlider, Mosaic, AlbumsStripes and Cubik modules.

    The image in Gmedia Library will be as video thumbnail for video url you saved in the “Link” field.

    So I’d have to upload an image and then paste the YT or Vimeo link to that? Then if the image is the video thumbnail then what happens to the original image I uploaded? I don’t see an option to link to a video without uploading an image first.

    Hey, do you have a follow up for this? We are using Phantom so we can use video. I just want to know if there is an option to post the video link without setting it on top of an existing image. And if the video thumbnail will definitely replace the image.

    Gmedia Gallery plugin can’t read thumbnails for YT or Vimeo videos, that’s why you need first upload video cover for your video to the Gmedia Library and link it to the video on YT or Vimeo.
