embedding youtube video with MacJournal

I CAN’T get my youtube videos to embed on the website using the application MacJournal. I’ve turned off the “< and >” in MacJournal and on WordPress it’s accepting XML-RPC publishing.
When I put the EMBED code up there it just disappears from the post after publishing. When I put the URL for the video up there it just…puts the url in the post. It used to be able to just publish the video/embed the video in the post.
I am not the admin for our site but he removed the Anarchy vidoe plugin in hopes of solving the problem. But it did not.
Any input would be great. Thanks
