    Hi everyone!

More of a “Is it good for me?” question, so I get started.
I am building a WordPress website using Pods and Elementor Pro, in the Hello Elementor theme.
The website is about a music studio and there is the need to play YouTube videos or Soundcloud clips of the different artists of the studio.
The visitors will see music events and artists and throughout the whole site, they will be able to select either an event to play from the YouTube, or from SoundCloud, so I need a “media player| that supports both sources of URLs as an input and this is OK with EmbedPress.
The question is if the additional design functionallity can be supported smoothly:

The player is hidden in the Header and when a source is selected, the url is loaded to player, the player expand to a small level (AND size) and starts playing.
If another source is selected, the new URL is fed to EmbedPress, a fast animation gathers and expands the player and the meid starts without clipping or any other problems.
If the source is a YouTube video, then the user may expand the player even more, so the “video screen” gets bigger smoothly.
Somethimes live events from YouTube might be casted.

So there is a need for coded manipulation on changing the feed URL of the player, as well as change the size of it.
Does EmbedPress have the API and the capacity to support these features?
If YES, any idea for implementation is welcome.

    Thank You.

    Hello @spypots ,

I understand that you want to create two buttons that, when clicked, will open the players. You can achieve this by using a widget such as advanced tabs and adding the content inside. You can check out the demo here: https://essential-addons.com/advanced-tabs/. You can achieve what you are looking to do. EmbedPress will embed content from SoundCloud and YouTube, and how you choose to add the content is up to you.

    Hope this helps. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the support.
This saves me time, but still,
the main question is if EmbedPress has some sort of API so I can control it with code,
or else, I cannot think of any way of loading/ unloading, checking status, force playing and pausing and feed with URLs throughout the site.

    Hello @spypots ,

    Greetings.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an API to control this. Thanks for reaching out.

    Good day.
