    Your update of seven hours ago apparently went out without any testing, and white-screened my site with the following message:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Email_Subscribers_Admin’ not found in /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-subscribers/lite/includes/class-email-subscribers.php:828 Stack trace: #0 /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-subscribers/lite/includes/class-email-subscribers.php(1064): Email_Subscribers->define_admin_hooks() #1 /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-subscribers/email-subscribers.php(237): Email_Subscribers::instance() #2 /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-subscribers/email-subscribers.php(242): ES() #3 /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-settings.php(342): include_once(‘/home2/lindsyha…’) #4 /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-config.php(97): require_once(‘/home2/lindsyha…’) #5 /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-load.php(37): require_once(‘/home2/lindsyha…’) #6 /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once(‘/home2/lindsyha…’) #7 /home2/lindsyha/public_html/index.php(17): require(‘/home2/lindsyha…’) #8 {main} thrown in /home2/lindsyha/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-subscribers/lite/includes/class-email-subscribers.php on line 828

  • Hi,

    Sorry for the inconvenience you had.

    We have tested it properly and couldn’t reproduce this issue on our setup.

    I suspect that the update is not done correctly.

    Can you please download ES 4.4.4 and upload it once again?

    Yes, reinstalling it seems to have corrected the problem. It’s still kind of alarming that your update broke it.

    @tylertork when I visit your site it still looks broken to me FYI.

    Yes, that wasn’t really my site — obviously I couldn’t leave mine broken for folks to look at. I found that one searching for the error message in Google.

    If it’s not your site then how you confirm that reinstalling the plugin has fixed the issue.

    BTW, the error which is reporting on the site is not coming from the latest version (4.4.4) of Email Subscribers. So, the latest update doesn’t break.

    I hope that helps.
