Emojis are not being disabled.

  • I’ve tried this with 2 themes and your Disable Emoji option does not work. I can still type : ) and get a smiley face. I also check with another plugin that showed me the WordPress use emojis option was still active.

    Makes me wonder what else doesn’t actually work. Am I just clicking buttons for my health now ?

    The description says that the file wp-emoji-release-Emoji.min.js is responsible for displaying. You can easily check if this option works by simply checking the connection of this file in the source file of the page
