• When an update is sent, any emojis in the post are massive! How do I go about fixing this? Perhaps it’s a bug? When previewing the emails in the backend, the emojis are 100% width of the container, just like the email.

    Here’s an example: https://imgur.com/a/y81SsLm

    Thanks!

    Yikes, that is huge!

Is it possible for you to look at the HTML source of the message to see exactly what markup is being used? It would be helpful to see whether the markup is bad, or whether instead the problem is the client rendering the email.

Have you noticed a similar problem in other emails from the site?

Exactly where are the emoji coming from? A forum thread, the activity stream, a blog post? Are they being entered using a device’s native emoji tools, or using some other method?

See https://buddypress.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/7948 for potentially related discussions.

I’ve discovered that the issue is present when copying & pasting the ‘post’ from one source to another. If I re-type the post without copying/pasting any information, it seems that the emojis come through just fine ??

I guess I’ll just have to be careful!

Thanks for your assistance Boone! ??
