Emoticon and link in one? Wordprss guru's where are you? :D

    Hello WordPress Guru’s,

    I’ve got a question and was hoping some of you might help me out!

    On my wpblog I want to make a few easy to post faq buttons, so that users can share faqs easily with other users.

    I thought the easiest way to do it was by using emoticons for the buttons.. Right now theyre just images that show up as emoticons when you type :faq1: :faq2: etc etc

    I was wondering if it was possible to make an emoticon also into an link at the same time?

    Now when my users post :faq1: they’ll get the image, but still have to add <a href="blabla">:faq1:</a>

    Sooooo, any tips/ideas? Is it possible when a user types :faq1: it will not only make an image, but also a link out it?

    Well despite there being no wordpress guru’s around to answer… there was a plugin guru which made the plugin: <b>Automatic SEO Links</b>

    This works for me perfectly! (In case anyone else has the same problem I had)
