Im trying to work out something which I thought should be easy.

In a salon we have 6 employees, they get assigned to the reception on various times throughout the day, say 1 in the morning and then 1 in the afternoon

Now I thought about creating a service called “Reception” to which you can then assign an employee too, but services can’t be selected from and to in times

Am I missing something obvious, if I try and set “special days” this just shows when things can be booked, if I select day off, I can’t set times I can’t seem to say give them an afternoon off

    Hi,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

I am not sure that I have understood you right, but if you are trying to block certain times of the day for employees then you can try connecting them to the Google calendar and adding a event when employee is working on the reception. If, on the other hand you need to inform employee about this, I would suggest creating a service, hiding that service from the front-end booking form and then using it for scheduling appointment on the back-end when employee is working on the reception. In that way employee will be notified about it and you can set service duration to be across the whole morning.

    Best regards.

Ok so how do I get Employee on Monday to be booked at reception from 9am to 12pm and then on Tuesday they are booked at reception from 11am to 16:00pm

How do I book an employee into a reception desk service as such and be able to set start time and when they will end?

Lets say I set a service called Reception, how can I book it for 3 hours one day, 5 hours the next etc, you have to set the duration of the booking

Assume theres no answer to this?? Must admit it’s slowly becoming apparent you can’t do a lot of very simple things with Amelia
