    Hi,

I need to set up an employment site. The front-end would offer basic information pages and ability to apply for jobs.

Once we “approve” a job applicant, I wanted to be able to allocate them to a designated membership group so that when they login they can see a secondary menu across top of site where would be links to induction training, videos, PDFs etc.

    1. I assume I can create a new user and just allocate them to a specific membership groups to see their logged in menu options.

    2. Can I create a sub-menu in header that will display only upon login for new employees to access? And that that menu will only display the menu items/links that their membership group is allowed to access (as different employees will need access to different induction programs).

    3. Woocommerce would be installed on the site (for renewal of licences etc) – again these licence renewals would be visible only to logged in members in certain membership groups. You plugin offers that I assume?

    4. We are using Avada template. Is your plugin compatible with this template system?

Just wanted to check the above as urgently need to get this site up and wanted to double-check the above was possible with your plugin.

    Many thanks.

    Hi @kira7

Thank you for writing in, and we’re happy to assist you.

    1. I assume I can create a new user and just allocate them to a specific membership groups to see their logged in menu options.
Content Control can’t create a new user, but it has the option to restrict or show content using WordPress user role.

You can use a third-party plugin to create a custom WordPress user role, and assign it to the general settings.

    For example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uX9wXW

    2. Can I create a sub-menu in header that will display only upon login for new employees to access? And that that menu will only display the menu items/links that their membership group is allowed to access (as different employees will need access to different induction programs).
It doesn’t have the option to create a sub-menu in the header. This is controlled by WordPress. But once the sub-menu is available, you can select that page or post under the content settings.

    For example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/lludgK7R

    3. Woocommerce would be installed on the site (for renewal of licences etc) – again these licence renewals would be visible only to logged in members in certain membership groups. You plugin offers that I assume?
You can use the user role that WooCommerce assigns to the users. We believe it is the user role Customer.

    4. We are using Avada template. Is your plugin compatible with this template system?
Content Control can be used with other plugins and themes as they can work independently as a WordPress plugin or a theme as they are designed and coded using WordPress Codex.

You can use Content Control with other third-party plugins and themes.

We hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
