After adding the product to the cart, the page reloads, and confirmation message is displayed. However, when I go to the shopping cart page, this one is empty.

I disabled all plugins leaving only woocommerce. Debugging to the log file is enabled – no errors appear after adding to the cart.

    The page is new.
The only external service enabled is cloudflare.

    WordPress: 6.6.2
    Woocommerce: 9.3.3
    PHP: 8.0.3

    edit:

After changing the block cart to the classic shortcode, everything displays correctly – why? Should the theme be somehow prepared for blockbasket and checkout?

  • I am also having same issue after updating to 9.3.3 today. WP-6.62. PhP 8.1.29

After adding the product to the cart, the page reloads, and confirmation message is displayed but when I go to the shopping cart page it says cart is empty.

BUT, after adding item, if I click on fly-cart icon on right of screen items show in cart and checkout can proceed.

So it seems it’s adding items just not in the initial view after reload? Very odd.

    Hey @siutek ,

This isn’t something I’m able to reproduce with the latest version of WooCommerce and WordPress, while using the default Storefront theme.

Since you’ve already checked for plugin conflicts, it’s possible that this may be a theme related issue since the checkout shortcode works as expected. Can you temporarily switch to a default theme, like Storefront, and see if this resolves the issue?

If that makes no difference, can you reach out to your host and ask them to make sure that your?Cart?and?Checkout?pages are excluded from being cached as this is a common reason for this type of behavior.

If the issue persists, I’d like to take a closer look at your sites current environment, please can you share a copy of your sites System Status Report via?WooCommerce?→?Status.

Select?Get system report?and then?Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.

@suesullivan Can you try the same steps above and see if that resolves the issue on your end? If not, since each sites environment differs, and in order to align with the?forum guidelines, would you?please?start your own topic?

We’ll be more than happy to help there. ??

    Cheers,

I was able to fix with clearing the site cache. No issues now. It may have already been cleared when you looked.

    Thanks!
