The problem, some visitors add items to their cart then when going to view cart receive a “Your cart is currently empty” message, but items still show in cart icon.

Installed WP-Rocket, the only caching type plugin allowed for Godaddy managed wordpress. By default, it instructs not to cache woocommerce pages(cart, checkout, myaccount)

IMPORTANT- This issue does not happen with all visitors, occurs in all browsers and devices. Visitors who have the issue, seem to always have it. We did have one customer who had identical computer setups on 2 different office devices and one unit couldn’t complete checkout, the other had no issue at all.

    Our site bazookabob.com

We have not been able to recreate except once but a refresh on the browser got us past it and we’ve not been able to recreate on any device since.

I am on Godaddy Managed wordpress, have cleared out all caches I can imagine, deleted object-cache( a suggestion from other forum)

Using analytics, I was able to track the problem all the way back to when my site first went live (May 2018). Not good

I can’t get any info from Godaddy….do they cache woocommerce pages or not etc… Their “experts” told me they don’t have caching server-side….One “expert” asked, “what is that?” in response to that question.

If Godaddy said they have a fix, did they mention what it is?

WP Menu Cart Pro- if that matters

Right, I got that. I’ll only reinstall GA long enough to see if going thru Ads triggers the broken shopping cart.

I’ve got GA off as well. Like I said previously, Ads is a lot of wasted money if I can’t use GA to track historical search terms.

I’ll check back with my testing results
