• On my blog ( https://www.aluxurytravelblog.com ) you’ll notice ‘Madagascar (1)’ among the categories and sub-catgories.

When you click on this, despite the “(1)”, you are told that there is nothing there. How has this happened and how can I rectify it?

I thought I had added something about Madagascar about a week or so ago… could it be that something timed out when that post was submitted?

Thanks for any pointers and/or help you can give,

    Paul

  • In Administration > Manage > Categories what does it show for # Posts for the Madagascar Category?

What Template Tag are you using to display those Categories in your sidebar?

What Version of WordPress are you using?

    Hi Michael

    Thank you for replying.

Under Administration > Manage > Categories, it shows 1 post also.

    I am using WordPress 1.5.1

Further to my original post, I notice I do have an entry scheduled to appear in the Madagascar category in 16 days’ time. It is possible that I published this post, and then went back and edited it to make it appear at a later date.

Could this have accounted for the indication of one post? Also, if that is the cause, will it rectify itself when the post goes live in a couple of weeks time?

    Many thanks

    Paul

Seems like it may ‘correct’ itself ‘when the post goes live.’

I believe this issue has been reported in Trac:

Ah, OK… thanks Michael. I can happily wait until the post goes live. ??
