empty csv file

Hi I am trying to redirect all the old urls from a site to the homepage of a new site on the same domain. The 404 errors are being logged but when I try to view them as csv, the file is empty?

I can view them within the plugin in wordpress and they can be added individually by clicking the green circle on the right. Problem is there are thousands of 404 errors and I simply could not add them manually.

Does anyone know how to automatically redirect to the homepage and is this the correct thing to do?

The domain is over 10 years old so I need to redirect right?
