Empty excerpt after import

  • Hi @jamesdigioia
    Thanks a lot for the efforts you put into this plugin. I’m currently building a documentation website where the content should be open for contribution via Github.

    I hope you can help with my issue: I’d like to import complete new content from Github. While WP pushes some database additions I will loose what I defined in post_excerpt:. Is there way to fix this? Or what am I doing wrong?

    Looking over the code, this may be a bug in WPGHS. Let me look into this a little deeper, but it appears we’re not handling all of the meta correctly on our side.
