Empty main domain

    Hello,

    The plugin is great!
    I have only one problem.
    My website contains only the calendar, so I need it to be displayed in the main domain, like “mycalendar.com”. I have it set in a proper way in WP settings menu (“mycalendar.com” is set as a main domain).
    Settings of the plugin make me to give a new address for the calendar page, so I called it “events”.
    And now my calendar works pretty nice in “mycalendar.com/events”, but when I try to display “mycalendar.com”, the page is empty.

    It is a problem, because I need this site to be available under the main domain address. In another words – I need to have a calendar in “mycalendar.com”, not in “mycalendar.com/events”.

    Could you please help me?

    Previously I tried with another calendar plugin and it was working fine as a homepage.

  • Hello,

    The free The Events Calendar plugin does include a basic Upcoming Events widget you could include on the home page to show upcoming events. The Events Calendar Pro addon includes a lot more widgets, and each of the widgets can be embedded as a shortcode with Pro.

    If I were you I would first check my Appearance > Widgets page to see if that basic widget does what you need. If not checkout Events Calendar Pro and see if one of those sounds more like what you wanted.
