Empty monthly calendar but many events after setting up ICS feed subscription

Have subscribed successfully to a Microsoft Live Calendar :

81 imported events show successfully in the Events>All Events screen yet in the WP Page where the calendar is inserted (using simply [ai1ec view=monthly] ) only an empty monthly calendar appears.

Also if one tries to navigate to the next month then the following error message appears :

Something went wrong while fetching events.
The request status is: 404
The error thrown was: Not Found

Any help on the above would be very much appreciated.
