Empty Post categories don't show and can't be selected

  • Hi,

    I just noticed that empty Post categories do not appear in the Advanced tab, under Categories. I had to create a fake article and assign it to all the empty categories so I could select them.

    Why does this matter? Well, some of our clients pre-determine Blog categories and create them, but may not add content right away. But when they do, the sidebar won’t be the right one, since we can’t pre-assign them…

    Do you think this can be added in the plugin ?

    Thanks for your query.

    This was an intentional decision, to ensure that only categories with content to display, are eligible for sidebar replacements.
