Hello, my website is still not live, I’m in process of creating it. I didn’t put any of my products at the sale, so I have just the regular price, but the place holder for the Sales badge is on every product (like blank or white Sale badge without text). Example attached. Can anyone suggest how to remove this from regular products?

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

That sounds like either the theme is implementing that badge, or there’s a plugin forcing it on the products.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

This is best done on a staging site. That’s a copy of your live site, so you can test things out without making changes to your actual site. Some hosting companies offer a staging site service within their hosting plans. If yours does not, there is a great free plugin that will allow you to build a complete staging site with a few button clicks: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging.

    Hi!

Thank you very much for your answer. It disappeared when I switched the theme to Storefront, so it’s the theme issue. Now I need to find out what in the theme is causing this issue.

    Thanks!

Great news that you found what’s causing this! If you are using a pre-built theme, it helps to get in touch with the developer directly.

I’ll go ahead and set this topic to ‘solved’, but if you have anything else you would like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread.
