empty sidebar

  • I am either looking for a theme with an empty sidebar – no categories, blogroll etc. or I need to know how to eliminate these items in my sidebar.

  • Go into your sidebar php, either subtract it from your theme folder in your ftp or edit through the wordpress dashboard. I usually just extract any code relating to the elements listed in current sidebar theme.

    Not sure it’s the best way, but seems to do the job!

    Thanks jonny. I’m new at this but I’ll give it a try. Also, do you know if there is any way to eliminate the Filed Under/By/Date wording that appears after every post. I’m the only one posting and I don’t want to see any of that stuff.
