    Hi, great plugin and tnx for this. Updated one of our sites to v 8.0 and in posts/pages the wysiwyg is empty (but not really empty, as the content was online and visible after deactivating) + the plugin in the posts/pages is buggy. Deactivating Yoast was the only solution for now. We have WPBakery 5.5.2. and a adapted Kleo-theme running;

    tnx!

  • Further to this, after upgrading to Yoast SEO Premium, version 8.0, the WordPress menu bar at the top of the page went missing from our custom posts (but not other pages or posts). Reverting back to version 7.8.1 fixed this issue.

    @polariscs That sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:
    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
    If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    @petroski Since you have a premium subscription, please send us an email directly at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to investigate this issue further on your site.

    Hello Mazedul,

    The issue was fixed by reverting back to 7.8.1. We are using a real estate theme called Open House / Open Road. the custom post is a property listing. For example, see:

    https://mountaintownproperties.ca/listing/301-nickleplate-apartment/

    When logged in, looking at this page’s front view, there is a space for the WP editor menu but nothing shows. Further investigation of the page source when using version 8 revealed the page output truncates at the <?php wp_footer(); ?> function call located in footer.php.
