    Correction, Not applied only to CDN served files. If I disable CDN google site speed test still recommends to use compression.

    Compressing the following resources with gzip could reduce their transfer size by 772.4KiB (71% reduction).

    strange, when I use ismyblogworking.com I get

    Bandwidth saved by compression: 78.1%

    I will try minify to see if that helps. I just noticed the files are CSS and JS
