    Sure, I can enable copy and right click protection and it works perfect. When I put my site in maintanance mode, I can right click on maintanance mode page and view the source code of the page.

    Hi thank you for clarifying your question.

    Please read the following found in the plugin settings for this feature.

    This feature allows you to disable the ability to select and copy text from your front end.

    That means it does not stop someone from viewing the source code. It just stops them from copying your valuable text in your blog post or page. Although they can go about it in different ways to copy but it would take them much longer.
