Enable Credits

Every time I amend something within your widget, I have to opt out of “Enable Credits”, even though I did it the first time.
This is against WP plugin repository guidelines:
“10. The plugin must not embed external links on the public site (like a “powered by” link) without explicitly asking the user’s permission. Any such options in the plugin must default to NOT show the link.”https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-siren-recent-posts-by-category/
